Are you passionate about helping others navigate their personal journey to recovery? Do you want to use your lived experience to provide hope and support to individuals facing mental health and/or substance use challenges? We’re looking for compassionate Peer Support Specialists to join our team in San Diego, CA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one peer support to individuals in recovery, drawing from your personal experiences.

  • Help clients set and achieve their personal goals, offering encouragement and advocacy along the way.

  • Facilitate group discussions and workshops, fostering a sense of community and shared experience.

  • Connect clients with resources and services, supporting their holistic well-being.

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and support teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Qualifications:

  • Lived experience with mental health and/or substance use challenges and personal recovery journey.

  • Certified Peer Support Specialist (or willingness to become certified).

  • Strong communication and active listening skills.

  • Ability to foster trust and create a safe space for open dialogue.

  • Compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental approach to helping others.

Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time available.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
