Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Savage, MN

Soliant is collaborating with a charter school network in Savage, MN, to find a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for K-12 students. This position offers an exciting opportunity for SLPs who want to contribute to innovative educational models within the munity.

Further details about the school and specific campus assignments will be provided during interviews with school administrators, following a successful phone screening with Soliant representatives.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or munications Disorders
  • Minnesota Speech-Language Pathology License issued by the Minnesota Department of Health or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) or equivalent issued by the Minnesota Department of Education or ability to obtain

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments for students referred for speech and language needs
  • Present evaluation results and propose Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals at meetings
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders
  • Develop personalized education plans and collaborate with parents, school administrators, and other stakeholders
  • Consult with teachers, counselors, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns
  • Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload
  • Provide progress reports to parents
  • Organize student caseload and develop schedules for each assigned school
  • Create resource materials to support speech and language development
