Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with MS Office Suite, MRP/MRB database systems, and a solid understanding of basic shop mathematics, statistics, and blueprint reading. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to translate technical information across various organizational levels. The successful candidate will be adept at managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and ensuring strict adherence to EHS rules.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate expertise in the usage of MS Office Suite.
• Understand and apply basic shop mathematics and basic statistics/analytics.
• Read and interpret basic blueprints.
• Utilize MRP/MRB database systems effectively.
• Maintain excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Translate technical information to all levels of the organization.
• Apply knowledge of principles and concepts relevant to control of nonconforming products in an AS9100 environment.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Understand processes and resources used in assigned work extensively.
• Communicate effectively and influence change within the organization.
• Pay strict attention to detail.
• Interact professionally with all organizational levels.
• Manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Work effectively in a team environment with frequent inter-organizational contacts.
• Represent the organization in providing solutions to difficult technical issues associated with specific projects.
• Perform some lifting as required.
• Adhere to all Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) rules.

Essential Skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Delegated Manufacturing Inspection Representative certification.
• Experience in inventory control and quality assurance.
• Proficiency with scanner and Excel data entry.

Work Environment

This position is within a manufacturing aerospace company. The work environment includes the use of various technologies and equipment specific to aerospace manufacturing. The role may require some lifting and adherence to EHS rules is mandatory.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carson, California.
