Job Title: Buyer

Location: SW Portland, OR

Salary: $60k-75k, DOE

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Buyer to join our procurement team in Southwest Portland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the purchasing of goods and services, ensuring that the company’s operational needs are met while considering price, quality, and delivery to ensure continuity of supply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the procurement of materials, supplies, and equipment.

  • Evaluate supplier quotes and services to determine the most desirable suppliers.

  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.

  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely replenishment.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure high-quality products and services.

  • Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions.

  • Resolve issues related to order discrepancies, delivery delays, and quality concerns.

  • Collaborate with various departments to understand their purchasing needs and provide support.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.

  • Proficiency in ERP system(s)

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

  • 1-2 years’ experience, preferably with international exposure

Benefits:

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
