Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Hudson, NY

Pay Range: $23.00-$30.00/hr

Hours- Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
 

What's the Job?

  • Conduct troubleshooting, repair work, and preventative maintenance on all production packaging and labeling machinery.
  • Ensure all machinery is in operating order by detecting and locating sources of electrical and mechanical problems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance following operation manuals and engineering specifications.
  • Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications.
  • Prepare maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma; Electro-Mechanical Technical Training is a must.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience working with production equipment in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Three (3) + years of related experience with industrial packaging and labeling machines.
  • Ability to lift objects weighing 25 to 50 pounds.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding blueprints and technical diagrams.
