Position: School Social Worker
Contract Duration: 2024-2025 School Year

Overview:
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate School Social Worker to join our team in the Garden City, MI area for the uping school year. This onsite position provides a rewarding opportunity to support students and their families within a school setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counseling to students facing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
  • Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop effective intervention strategies.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create supportive learning environments.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.
  • Offer crisis intervention and support to students and families in need.
  • Advocate for students and connect families with munity resources and services.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in pliance with school and state regulations.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
  • Current Michigan license as a Social Worker (LMSW or LBSW).
  • Strong understanding of child development, mental health, and social service systems.
  • Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
