Production Worker-2nd Shift

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Production Worker for the 2nd shift to inspect and manage automotive component parts. The role involves working with a team, ensuring quality control, and preparing parts for packing.
Responsibilities- Inspect automotive component parts for defects as dispensed from the injection molding machine.
- Inspect 50 parts per hour, each weighing under 5lbs.
- Collaborate with 1-4 other operators on the line.
- Trim component parts as necessary and prepare them for packing.
- Pack component parts according to packing specifications.
- Assist with material changes as needed.
- Complete paperwork for defective parts.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 1 year of manufacturing experience.
- Experience standing for 10-12 hours at a time.
- Experience using hand tools such as hammers, knives, and screwdrivers.
- Experience in production, manufacturing, or assembly.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools.
- Forklift operation experience is a plus.
This is a contract-to-hire position with opportunities for pay raises. The company has work booked out until 2027, ensuring job security. Operators can enjoy a casual dress code with shorts and t-shirts in summer and are not required to wear steel-toed shoes.
Work EnvironmentThe work environment is non-climate controlled but very clean and bright. The 2nd shift runs from 2:30pm-11:00pm, Monday through Friday, with a 75 cent shift differential. Currently, the schedule involves working 6-7 days a week, but this is expected to reduce to 6 days soon. The role offers a pay rate of $19.78 plus the shift differential.
