Responsibilities
  • Inspect automotive component parts for defects as dispensed from the injection molding machine.
  • Inspect 50 parts per hour, with each part weighing under 5lbs.
  • Work collaboratively with 1-4 other operators on the line.
  • Trim components parts if necessary and prepare them for packing.
  • Pack component parts according to packing specifications.
  • Assist with material changes as needed.
  • Complete paperwork for defective parts as required.
Essential Skills
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1 year of manufacturing experience.
  • Experience standing for 10-12 hours at a time.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, knives, and screwdrivers.
Why Work Here?

This is a contract-to-hire position offering progressive raises upon direct hire. You can expect a 50 cent raise initially and an additional 25 cents after a year. The company has work booked out until 2027, ensuring job security. Operators are allowed to wear shorts and t-shirts with closed-toed shoes in the summer, and no steel toes are required.

Work Environment

Currently, the team is working 6-7 days a week, but this is expected to reduce to 6 days a week soon. The dress code is casual with shorts and t-shirts allowed, provided closed-toed shoes are worn.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.78 - $19.78
