Our client, a leading Rocky Mountain Law firm is seeking a 8 plus years Estate Planning and Tax Attorney to join their Elder Law practice. We are looking for an attorney with 8 plus years post-law school experience in trust and estate planning for high-net-worth clients, tax planning, asset protection planning, trust and estate administration, and closely held business planning experience. Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school is required. Active license to practice law in Colorado (or ability to obtain licensure). CPA certification or LL.M. in Taxation is required. Strong analytical, writing, and verbal communication skills, and excellent client relationship management abilities. The Senior Attorney will advise clients on complex estate planning, tax planning, asset protection planning, trust and estate administration, and closely held business planning. The senior attorney will draft sophisticated estate planning documents, including estate tax and GST tax planning wills and revocable trusts, specialized irrevocable trusts, assist with trust and estate administration, and provide counsel on tax implications related to trusts and estates.
