Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Part-Time Accounting Assistant to join our team in Hamilton Township, New Jersey. As an Accounting Assistant, you will perform various accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Handle duties related to accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Verify, post, and close debit memos and invoices
• Match and distribute vendor invoices with warehouse receiving documents
• Enter and verify bills and credits
• Conduct bank reconciliations utilizing QuickBooks
• Execute additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor

• Possess a minimum of one year of experience in an Accounting Assistant role or similar position

• Proficient in performing Accounting Functions and managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for this role

• Candidates must have a professional attitude, demonstrating reliability and a strong work ethic

• Knowledge of general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts, and corporate procedures is beneficial
