Currently hiring a Maintenance Technician in the Joliet, IL area. Hiring immediately.

Shift: 2nd Shift (M-F, 2:30pm-11:30pm). Overtime would be working till midnight. Occasional Saturday's.

Job Description:
  • Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on various machines including ultrasonic welding machines, ABB robotics, and more
  • Conduct 80% reactive repairs and 20% preventative maintenance
  • Use Allen Bradley PLC to troubleshoot for repairs
  • Fabricate parts using presses, surface grinders, and manual mills
  • Perform MIG and STICK welding to repair guard rails on machines
  • Observe Lock Out/Tag Out procedures while working on equipment
  • Collaborate with engineers on process improvements
  • Handle general facilities maintenance as needed
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience preferred; open to training candidates with a good work history
  • Mechanical skills
  • Experience performing preventative maintenance in a manufacturing or distribution environment
  • Fabrication experience using grinders, presses, etc.
  • Experience with Lock Out/Tag Out procedures
  • MIG/STICK welding experience
  • Experience working with Allen Bradley PLCs to troubleshoot repairs
  • Electrical troubleshooting skills
Work Environment:

The facility is approximately 300,000 sq ft and includes the manufacturing floor, warehouse, maintenance area, and general office space. Candidates must be comfortable working around loud machinery and within a manufacturing environment. Safety glasses will be provided; no other PPE is required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00

They offer Blue Cross Blue Shield for medical/dental/vision/life insurance, a 401K program (eligible right away after hire), and give 2 weeks vacation once permanent (start accruing right away).

This is a fully onsite position in Joliet,IL.
