Sparks Group in partnership with a growing CPA firm is seeking a Tax Manager. As the Tax Manager you will be working in a small team and will be primary point of contact for clients. You will be responsible for managing all phases of tax and compliance engagements, preparing various types of tax returns as well as tax planning and projections. The ideal candidate will have a 5 years of relevant tax management experience (individual, trust, estate, partnership, and corporate) hold an active CPA, be proficient in MS Office, QuickBooks and Drake (or other tax preparation software) and have experience in high- net worth planning. Responsibilities:
  • Lead complex tax engagements from start to finish.
  • Prepare diverse tax returns for individuals, trusts, estates, partnerships, and corporations.
  • Mentor and develop team members through on-the-job training and review.
  • Provide strategic tax planning and projections for businesses and individuals.
Qualifications/Background Profile:
  • Active CPA is required
  • 5 + years of prior tax preparation experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office and tax preparation software (DrakeTax preferred)
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks
  • Experience in high-net worth planning is a plus.

Pay Range: Salary $100,000.00 to $185,000.00
