Pay Range: $60 - $72/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:


  • Analyze and resolve state and local tax notices and tax account issues.
  • Review and reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance with state and local tax regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to address tax-related inquiries and discrepancies.
  • Provide support and guidance to payroll team members on state and local tax matters.


Key Requirements and Technology Experience:


  • Skills-Payroll processes, tax regulations, ADP.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing and tax compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of state and local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Familiarity with ADP Payroll, including ADP Smart Compliance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with setting up tax accounts, filing tax returns, handling tax notices, payroll company level tax returns, speaking with tax agencies etc.
  • Degree is not essential.
