Job DescriptionJob Description

We are in search of a proficient Criminal Law Paralegal with bilingual (Spanish) skills to join our law firm client's criminal defense team in Phoenix, Arizona. This role involves the processing of client cases, preserving accurate client records, and addressing client inquiries in both English and Spanish. You will also be tasked with supervising client cases and executing appropriate actions.


Responsibilities:


• Process client cases with accuracy and efficiency

• Preserve precise client records in both English and Spanish

• Address client inquiries professionally and promptly in both languages

• Supervise client cases and execute appropriate actions

• Utilize Case Management Software for efficient handling of cases

• Manage calendar for case hearings, client meetings, and other important dates

• Administer claim processes as per legal guidelines

• Deliver briefing sessions to lawyers about case progress

• Perform billing functions with precision

• Use Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS), and CompuLaw software proficiently in daily tasks.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a paralegal role within the legal industry.
• Demonstrated skills in the use of Aderant software.
• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat for document management.
• Familiarity with the Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS).
• Experience in using case management software to streamline legal processes.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with CompuLaw software.
• Ability to handle billing functions efficiently and accurately.
• Experience in briefing, including preparing and reviewing briefs.
• Proficiency in calendar management, with the ability to schedule and coordinate meetings, deadlines, and events.
• Experience in claim administration, including filing, tracking, and managing legal claims.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to effectively liaise with clients, attorneys, and court officials.
