Job Description

- Responsible for all aspects of assembly operations and inspection, including set-up and sign off of finished products.

- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.

- Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.

- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.

- Verifies specifications by measuring completed component.

- Resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.

- Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs.

- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with safety procedures, rules, and regulations.

- Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.

- Uses equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.

- Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.

- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

- Achieves production, quality, and safety standards to maximize output.

- Communicates with co-workers, management, clients, and others in a courteous and professional manner.

- Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.

Looking for candidates that have paint booth experience or someone willing to work in paint booth as they will be working in Assembly AND Paint.

Candidate that will be working in the paint booth MUST be clean shaven as they will be wearing a respirator mask (requires no facial hair).

Hard Skills
  • 1+ years of assembly/subassembly experience
  • 1+ years of reading and interpreting complex blueprints
  • 1+ years of using hand tools, power tools, tape measure, etc.
Soft Skills
  • Communication with co-workers, management, clients, and others in a courteous and professional manner
  • Ability to conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions
Work Environment

This job operates in a manufacturing shop environment. Exposure to noise, chemicals, and materials consistent with a manufacturing environment is constant. This is a physically demanding position; maintaining the physical strength to lift materials up to 50 pounds, endure prolonged standing, dexterity, and stamina is necessary.
