Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team at Merrill Technologies Group. As an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting, applying primer and other coatings, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepares surfaces for painting, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Applies primer and other coatings per paint specifications and blueprints.
  • Clean and maintain work area to provide a safe and organized work environment.
  • Must be able to disassemble and re-assemble paint equipment for cleaning, ensuring the availability of equipment in safe and clean operating condition.
  • Responsible for producing high-quality products and meeting deadlines.
  • Maintains a safe work environment through proper training and awareness.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • One (1) year of experience as an industrial painter.
  • Attention to detail, hardworking, mechanical, and organized.
  • Ability to read and understand paint specifications and blueprints to complete tasks independently.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. with frequent bending, stooping, twisting, and climbing of ladders.
  • Advance knowledge of painting methods preferred.
