We are offering a hybrid, contract to hire employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Saratoga Springs, New York. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for various accounting duties including managing accounts payable, corresponding with vendors, and assisting with payroll. This role is crucial in maintaining financial records and ensuring smooth operations within our team.


Responsibilities:

• Handle all accounts payable duties to ensure timely and accurate payments

• Establish and maintain constant communication with vendors

• Prepare and post credit card statements on a monthly basis

• Conduct bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of transactions

• Provide support to the Accounts Receivable Specialist as needed

• Generate monthly statements for review and record-keeping

• Assist in payroll processing, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.

• Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience with Bank Reconciliations
• Familiarity with Credit Card Statements
• Ability to prepare and analyze Monthly Statements
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of general bookkeeping procedures
• Professionalism and ethical behavior
• Ability to meet deadlines.
