Our organization is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Customer Service Representative to join our Engineering team. This role is a unique opportunity to become part of a collaborative, fast-paced environment where your expertise in customer service, manufacturing, and engineering will be highly valued. The selected candidate will be the first point of contact for our customers and will have the critical role of ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Serve as the primary point of contact for all customers, providing high-quality service and support for all inquiries and concerns.
2. Utilize IQMS to manage customer accounts, track orders, and maintain customer data.
3. Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure customer orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
4. Create and manage purchase orders, ensuring that all details are accurate and up-to-date.
5. Handle front desk duties, including greeting visitors, answering phone calls, and managing correspondence.
6. Collaborate with the engineering team to understand product details and specifications, enabling you to provide accurate information to customers.
7. Identify and implement strategies to improve customer service, including process improvements, customer feedback collection, and issue resolution.
8. Maintain a deep understanding of our products and services to provide accurate and detailed information to customers.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in the engineering or manufacturing industry.
2. At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures.
3. Proficiency in IQMS or a similar manufacturing management system.
4. Previous experience as a Front Desk Receptionist or similar role, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
5. Experience in creating and managing purchase orders.
6. Outstanding customer care skills, with the ability to handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
8. Strong technical skills, with the ability to understand and explain complex engineering products and services.
9. A degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field would be a plus.
