$20 - $25/hr | Omaha, NE

Job Description

Looking for general laborers to assist in utility construction. This company installs and repairs storm water, sewer, and sanitary pipe.

The work will include:

  • Shoveling rock and other material to help set pipe to grade.
  • Assisting pipe layers when connecting pipe (hold pipe in place, place sealant on rims, tape off ends of pipe).
  • Climbing in and out of trenches via ladders (trenches are all compliant with OSHA, trench boxes, benched, etc.).
  • Moving material from trucks with front end loaders if experienced with heavy equipment.

Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of construction experience
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
  • Ability to stand 10+ hours a day
  • Work in adverse conditions
  • Higher pay will need utility/pipe experience

Work Environment
  • 100% outdoors on commercial jobsites.
  • Will be muddy when it rains.
  • Monday-Friday, some Saturdays. 50-55 hours per week. 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
