We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller. This role is pivotal to our organization and requires someone with a strong background in accounting and finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing payroll tasks, managing cash flow, and administering various financial reports. This role is critical to our operation's success, requiring a high level of organization and detail-orientation.


Responsibilities:


• Oversee payroll reporting and manage employee expenses.

• Expertise in QuickBooks is necessary for managing cash flow and payables/receivables.

• Handle sales and use tax payments, local business licenses, and insurance certificates.

• Manage workers' compensation reporting, OSHA reporting for insurance, and vehicle management.

• Ensure office supplies are well-stocked and reconcile credit cards.

• Administer Health Savings Accounts and 401k.

• Prepare profit and loss reports, both on a cash basis and accrual basis.

• Manage contracts and schedule of values.

• Assist with federal and state tax payments, working with a CPA to complete taxes.


Skills:


• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, CRM, and Crystal Reports.

• Familiarity with accounting functions such as Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Experience in auditing and budget processes.

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is required.

• Familiarity and proficiency with CRM and Crystal Reports.

• Demonstrated knowledge in accounting functions.

• Skilled in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Experience in auditing and budget processes.

• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
