School Psychologist Needed for the 2024/2025 School Year
Location: Oswego, IL
Start Date: October 7, 2024
End Date: June 6, 2025
Hours: ONSITE ONLY; 37.50 hours per week (working teacher contract hours on student contact days)
Days: Monday - Friday
Caseload: The primary role involves providing in-person services through direct student contact minutes. While there will be some evaluations, the focus will be on direct interactions with students.
Hourly Pay: $46-51 per hour, commensurate with experience.
Position Overview:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate School Psychologists to join our team in Oswego. We have multiple positions available across the district at all levels. The selected candidates will provide onsite support in our buildings, assisting with MTSS and crisis calls, as well as conducting IEP and 504 evaluations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as Team Lead for case management.
- Provide mental health services and support.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure student well-being and academic success.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations as needed.
- Develop and implement intervention strategies for students with diverse needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid state certification as a School Psychologist.
- Proven experience working in a school setting
- Strong understanding of psychological principles and educational practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads effectively.
- Masters degree in School Psychology preferred.
- Bilingual preferred but not required.
