ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate School Psychologistthis upcoming school year for a contract position located in the St. Helens, OR area.

What is Procare Therapy? Procare Therapy is a staffing/recruiting agency that helps school districts all across the United States fill their open positions. As a Procare employee, you will have access to a recruiter for the entirety of your assignment.

Position Title: School Psychologist
Hours per week: 40
Contract duration: 24-25 SY, 8/22 - mid June
Location(s): Rainier School District
Schedule: 8am - 4:30pm
Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations for eligibility for special education services.
  • Provide pre-referral support to assist in early intervention.

Requirements:

  • Oregon School Psychologist License through TSPC.
  • Ability to work on-site 100% or in a hybrid format.

Desired experience/qualities:

  • Previous experience as a school psychologist, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of special education laws and procedures.
  • Ability to manage responsibilities independently due to being the sole school psychologist in the district.
  • Organizational skills and effective time management.

This role emphasizes the importance of having a valid Oregon School Psychologist License and a comprehensive understanding of special education laws, as the candidate will be the primary expert in the district for these matters. The schedule and on-site requirement highlight the need for presence and availability to fulfill the role effectively.
