Type: Part-Time, 1099 Contract (Must have professional liability insurance)
Hours: 20 hours per week
Caseload: Ages 3-18

Job Description:
We are seeking a licensed Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) to provide virtual services for students in Wisconsin. This part-time, 1099 contract position requires experience in delivering virtual instruction and consultation services. The ideal candidate will be experienced in virtual platforms, able to meet the unique needs of students with hearing impairments, and work collaboratively in the IEP process. Candidates must hold a valid license in both Wisconsin and their state of residence and must pass a technical screening as part of the pre-interview process.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative services to students ages 3-18 with hearing impairments.
Meet virtually with students to deliver instruction and address their IEP goals, present levels of performance, and disability-related needs.
Contribute to the development and implementation of IEPs, including supplementary aids and services.
Collaborate with parents, educators, and school staff to support students academic and social success.
Ensure all services meet the technical and accessibility requirements for effective virtual delivery.
Qualifications:
Valid DHH Teaching License in Wisconsin and your state of residence (required).
Experience in providing virtual instruction and services (required).
Must pass a technical screening as part of the pre-interview process.
Must have professional liability insurance (1099 contract requirement).
Strong communication and organizational skills to manage a part-time virtual caseload.
