Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday

Job Description:
We are seeking a mitted and experienced Full-Time School Psychologist to support students in both elementary and middle school settings. This is a W2 contracted position, with working hours from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, for the remainder of the school year. The School Psychologist will provide prehensive psychological services, including assessments, counseling, and consultation, to help students achieve academic, emotional, and behavioral success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students referred for special education services, behavioral concerns, or academic challenges.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment results and student needs.
  • Provide individual and group counseling services to address students' social-emotional development and mental health concerns.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to create strategies that support student achievement and well-being.
  • Develop behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and offer consultation on best practices for classroom management and student behavior.
  • Participate in meetings, such as IEP meetings, to review and discuss student progress and develop interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Active California School Psychologist license or certification.
  • 2+ years of experience as a School Psychologist (preferred).
  • Proficiency with assessment tools, special education regulations, and intervention techniques.
  • Strong ability to work with students, families, and school staff in a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
  • Organizational skills to manage time effectively across elementary and middle school sites.
