Human Resource Generalist

• HR policy compliance and enforcement
• Helps to maintain company policies, procedures, employee handbook, and job descriptions
• Work with department managers to identify key talent and assist in streamlining hiring processes
• Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings and investigations
• Advises and provides coaching to first-time managers on employee relations, systems implementation, performance management, company policies, and other related topics
• Coaches employees and managers through employee relations and performance issues cases
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements
• **Emphasis on Benefits** Must be up to date on US and CA laws for FMLA, Disability, etc.
• Work closely with benefits with open enrollment, candidate must have prior experience with benefits. Breakdown of responsibilities:
• Employee Relations= 35%
• Compliance/ HR & Benefits Administration = 50%
• Training = 10%
• Recruitment - 5% Successful candidate criteria:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or other related field
• 5-7 years of Human Resources experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
• Someone who has an open door policy and who juggles a change in schedule with ease
