Job Summary:

Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the service department to ensure efficient, profitable, and customer-focused service.

Key Responsibilities:

* Team Leadership: Hire, train, and develop a high-performing service team.
* Financial Management: Develop and manage the department's budget, monitor expenses, and control costs.
* Customer Satisfaction: Build and maintain strong customer relationships, addressing concerns promptly and effectively.
* Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, technical advancements, and manufacturer guidelines.
* Operational Efficiency: Implement and maintain efficient processes to optimize workflow and productivity.
* Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant regulations, including safety, environmental, and labor standards.

Qualifications:

* 2+ years of experience in truck diesel engine service management
* Bachelor's degree preferred
* Valid CA drivers license
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
* Proven ability to manage budgets and control costs
* Knowledge of warranty and maintenance procedures
* Proficiency in dealership management software
