Volt is immediately hiring Direct Hire Customer Service Representative in Riverside, CA.

As a Customer Service Rep. you will:

  • Receive production orders and shipping information via email or fax and enter in the system.
  • Ship orders and print bill of ladings for the shipping department.
  • Schedule shipping appointments on calendar.
  • Some customers require CSR to schedule their freight. However, most customers schedule their own shipments.
  • When orders ship/send customer a copy of the bill of lading.
  • Send the customer their inventory numbers, either at month end or whenever the customer requests the information.
  • Monitor the negative lot report, and expired product reports, and adjust as needed.
  • Some customers request their orders by shipped by UPS or FEDEX. Make sure to use Styrofoam peanuts.
  • Attend operation meetings and discuss any issues with customer orders or the shipping.
  • Send receiving paperwork to customer when they supply raw materials needed for their productions and request COFA's when needed.
  • Send Controller any adjustments, inventory transfers, lot corrections, or inventory adjustments.
  • Monitor Production Calendar for the Controller.
  • Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers problems and concerns.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.



This is a full-time opportunity.

Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Service-oriented and able to resolve customer concerns.
  • Must demonstrate to be dependable and reliable.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years' experience working in customer service role required.
  • Proficient using computers with ability to learn new software.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
  • Walking and climbing stairs.
  • Able to stand, regularly required to talk and hear.
  • Must have good vision and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.



Pay Rate: $20.00- $21.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
