Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care services coverage based on clinic requirements.
  • Assume all responsibilities of patient engagement representatives, including verifying established patient information for accuracy and insurance details.
  • Collect co-payments and amounts due from patients, issuing receipts as needed.
  • Cooperate with colleagues to ensure seamless cross-training and coverage at all times.
  • Travel between departments and facilities to assist in coverage as required.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, typing, general clerical skills, and outstanding telephone skills are essential.
  • Medical terminology and two years of medical office experience are necessary for this role.
