Schools - Audiologist

Location: McDowell School District, Marion, North Carolina

Position Overview:
Seeking a qualified Audiologist for North Carolina2024/2025 school year. This full-time position will start as soon as possible and will run through May 2025. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Audiology license in North Carolina and will be responsible for assessing and managing students' auditory needs within the school environment.

Key Details:

• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
• Caseload: To be determined based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations and assessments for students.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' hearing needs.
• Provide recommendations for hearing aids and assistive listening devices as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of assessments, services, and progress.

Qualifications:

• Valid Audiologist license in North Carolina.
• Experience working in an educational setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
