Fair Lawn, NJ law firm is seeking an experienced full time Litigation Attorney

Our client is a growing dynamic law firm based in Fair Lawn, New Jersey that represents all manner of healthcare providers in various capacities but primarily in reimbursement disputes with commercial health insurance carriers. The ideal candidate is a strong litigator with experience in both state and federal court, with the organization ability necessary to manage a large caseload. This role is intended as a right-hand person to the current head of the litigation group, with a lot of potential, in a fast growing, high revenue, start-up firm.

Requirements:

  • Litigation associate with Big Law or comparable litigation experience of 5+ years

  • Healthcare/healthcare reimbursement experience preferred but not required

  • Bar License in NJ and NY required

  • At least one of the following: Bar License in Eastern District of New York (EDNY), Southern District of New York (SDNY) or U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey (USDNJ) required

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing a Caseload

  • Filing Complaints

  • Responding to Motions

  • Engaging in Settlement Discussions with Opposing Counsel

  • Discovery Requests and Responses

Schedule: Contingency work, equivalent to 1800 hours per year.

Location: Fair Lawn, NJ, 07410

Position: On-site

Start: ASAP

Salary: 200-300k commensurate with experience
