Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join our team in a very fast-paced, production environment. The ideal candidate will set up, adjust, and operate a bending machine, following layouts and templates to ensure parts are within tolerance.

Responsibilities
  • Set up, adjust, and operate bending machine.
  • Follow layouts and templates to set up machine.
  • Check that bent parts are within tolerance using proper measurement and inspection equipment.
  • Remove parts that are not accurate.
  • Complete and document all required paperwork.
  • Perform first articles as needed.
  • Operate hoist, cart caddy, and manual pallet jack.
Essential Skills
  • Minimum six months metal tube bending experience.
  • Knowledge of bending equipment and ability to adjust and solve problems as needed.
  • Ability to operate and/or read a tape measure, calipers, protractors, blueprints, and process sheets.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English (speak, read, write, and understand).
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with sheet metal, machine operation, and tube bending.
  • Stable work history.

Work Environment

This role is based in a manufacturing facility that is not air-conditioned and can get hot. The position requires bending, twisting, and lifting throughout the day. The facility offers amenities like fans and Freezee's on hot days to ensure comfort.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Anoka, Minnesota.

The pay range for this position is $21.25 - $21.25
