Location: Farmington, NY

Job Description

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, and preparing materials for shipment. This role requires physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and stacking materials by hand or using material handling equipment. You will also operate forklifts, verify quantities of deliveries, and ensure the accuracy of shipping information.

Responsibilities
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments for discrepancies and damage, and report problems promptly.
  • Store materials and supplies within the warehouse according to part number and description.
  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and stacking materials by hand or using material handling equipment.
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles, including operating forklifts and lifting and carrying merchandise.

Work Environment
  • This role requires working in a loud, climate-controlled, and clean facility.
  • Shift hours are Monday-Wednesday from 6am-3:30pm, Thursday from 7am-3:30pm, and Friday from 7am-12pm (half day).
