Job Description
Our team is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Coordinator for a 10-week project. The ideal candidate will manage the processing of all outgoing shipments, commission materials for projects on the shop floor, and ensure efficient communication with transportation services. Prior shipping experience with small packages and larger machinery is required, and candidates with experience in SAP-type systems will be preferred.
Responsibilities- Process and prepare all outgoing shipments in a timely manner.
- Commission materials for projects on the shop floor.
- Contact transportation providers to arrange shipping and prepare necessary paperwork.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all shipping documentation.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow.
- Adhere to safety and quality standards throughout the shipping process.
- Prior shipping experience, including small packages and machinery.
- Familiarity with SAP-type systems or similar software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Experience in logistics or supply chain management.
