We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a full-time, school-based role nearApex, NC for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students' behavioral and academic needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students.
  • Provide direct one-on-one and group therapy to students as needed.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' behavioral and educational goals.
  • Monitor and analyze student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
  • Train and support school staff and parents in behavior management techniques.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and treatment plans.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on behavioral goals and strategies.

Requirements:

  • Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required.
  • Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Previous experience working in a school-based setting is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of ABA principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with school staff, students, and families.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Current and valid BCBA certification.
