POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead the development and execution of strategies to optimize and manage claims operations, including automating processes and driving efficiency.
  • Utilize technology and data analytics to improve the quality of claims processing while driving cost efficiencies across the company's self-insured employee health plans.
  • Uncover financial savings and enhance overall plan performance by conducting thorough audits and in-depth analysis of claims data.
  • Provide strategic leadership in driving departmental growth while fostering collaboration with multiple other departments.
  • Ensure data integrity and drive financial and operational value across employee health plans, optimizing benefit coverage while controlling costs.
  • Collaborate with C-suite executives and hospital administration to implement the goals and strategies of the employee health plans.
  • Ensure that any process or procedural changes impacting operations are communicated promptly and efficiently through effective cross-functional teamwork.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A Master's degree in Business Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in claims and health plan strategy within a managed care, self-funded hospital setting.
  • Candidates must possess strong analytical skills, with a focus on using data to drive both operational and financial performance.
  • The ability to navigate complex, fast-paced environments involving multiple internal and external stakeholders is essential.
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and project management skills are required, along with proficiency in creating presentations for various audiences using Microsoft Office.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of medical coding, including ICD-10 and HCPCs/CPT, is also necessary.
  • Certified Professional Coding Certification, AIC, ARM, or an equivalent credential preferred.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

This career opportunity offers a strong salary of $200,000 to $275,000+ per year plus discretionary bonuses.
