Job Description

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for consistently hanging metal parts onto the paint line, lifting up to 50 lbs, following work orders based on customer needs, and labeling and placing stickers on conveyors and hampers. You will also accurately post transactions using shop floor data collection devices, utilize hand and power tools to assemble products as needed, troubleshoot and resolve any issues, and perform repetitive and monotonous hanging of parts.

Responsibilities
  • Consistently hang metal parts onto the paint line
  • Lift up to 50 lbs
  • Follow work orders based on customer needs
  • Label and place stickers on conveyors and hampers
  • Accurately post transactions using shop floor data collection devices
  • Utilize hand and power tools to assemble products as needed
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues
  • Perform repetitive and monotonous hanging of parts
Essential Skills
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools
  • General labor and production experience
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in production, assembly, general labor, painting, construction, paint prep, farm hand, hand tools, landscaping, and powder coating

Work Environment

Occasionally, employees may need to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The job requires regularly lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds, frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.00
