Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced 3rd Shift Material Handler to join our team in the shipping and receiving department. The ideal candidate will have expertise in forklift operations, warehouse inventory tracking, and shipping and receiving processes. This role is physically demanding and requires bending, lifting, stooping, and extensive walking.

Responsibilities

• Receive shipments and match items to order sheets
• Count inventory and track warehouse items
• Operate forklifts to move materials
• Ship products out efficiently and accurately
• Deliver parts to all departments within the facility
• Perform data entry tasks related to inventory control
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions to count and accept shipments

Essential Skills

• 1 year of forklift operating experience
• 1 year of warehouse inventory tracking experience
• 1 year of shipping and receiving experience
• Forklift certification or equivalent experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse operations and inventory control
• Proficiency in data entry related to inventory management

Work Environment

The position is located in a large industrial building with production activities occurring throughout the day. The shipping and receiving department is separate from the production floor, but the role involves delivering items across the production floor. The work environment is loud and busy, with forklift operations in a non-temperature-controlled setting, meaning it can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Candidates will also spend time outdoors in all weather conditions to manage shipments.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania.
