Job Description

CNC operators will be operating a Haas Mill and will also operate other machinery in the facility such as saws, drills, and brake presses. Cross-training is a significant part of the role, ensuring operators gain experience in various tasks beyond CNC operations.

Responsibilities
  • Operate Haas Mill and other machinery including saws, drills, and brake presses.
  • Read and interpret blueprints.
  • Perform offsets and tool changes.
  • Utilize precision instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Inspect and ensure the quality of machined parts.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in CNC operation.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Proficiency with calipers and micrometers.
  • Familiarity with Haas Mill operations.
  • Basic inspection skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with various machinery such as saws, drills, and brake presses.
  • Willingness to participate in cross-training.

Work Environment

Standard manufacturing shop environment. The facility is not super clean and not climate controlled, but fans are available. Working hours are from 5am to 1:30pm, Monday to Friday.
