Position: Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Corvallis, OR

About the Role:
Are you passionate about early childhood development? ProCare Therapy is looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Corvallis, OR. In this role, you'll work closely with young students to support their growth and development in a nurturing school environment.

Your Impact:

  • Role: Full-time position in a supportive and collaborative school setting.
  • Setting: Onsite, delivering essential occupational therapy services to early childhood students.
  • Focus: Working with preschool through early elementary students to enhance their functional skills and independence.
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, standard school day hours.

What You'll Do:

  • Assess and Plan: Conduct detailed assessments and develop individualized therapy plans.
  • Intervene and Support: Provide therapeutic interventions to improve motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
  • Collaborate: Partner with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to each child's development.
  • Monitor and Adjust: Track student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
  • Engage: Deliver one-on-one or small group therapy sessions tailored to the needs of young students.

A Day in the Life:
Your day will start with a friendly welcome from colleagues and the young students you'll support. Mornings may involve assessments or therapy sessions focused on developing foundational skills. During midday, you'll collaborate with teachers and parents to strategize and share progress. The afternoon will include additional therapy sessions and planning, all while making a meaningful impact on the children's lives.

What Were Looking For:

  • Licensure: Valid Occupational Therapist licensure in Oregon.
  • Experience: Experience with early childhood students preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a passion for working in a school-based setting.
  • Commitment: Dedication to fostering young children's functional skills and independence.
