Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a contract for a permanent position as an HR Generalist in the retail industry, located in Southlake, Texas. This role involves managing a variety of human resources functions, including compliance, benefits administration, and employee relations.

Responsibilities:
• Manage compliance issues, working diligently to resolve discrepancies between employees, payroll, benefit providers, and government agencies.
• Handle and process workers' compensation claims, as well as manage compliance with ADA, Leave of Absence, and other state-mandated time off requirements.
• Serve as a point of contact for employees with benefit-related questions, ensuring they understand and utilize their benefits effectively.
• Identify and implement new benefits and perks to enhance employee satisfaction.
• Provide high-quality advice and service to management on daily employee relations and performance management issues.
• Resolve issues promptly to enhance job satisfaction and foster a positive work environment.
• Promote HR programs aimed at creating an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
• Utilize HR information systems, including Workday, for various HR functions.
• Leverage excellent interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skills to maintain a harmonious workplace.
• Utilize communication skills to effectively relay information to team members and other departments.• Proficiency in using ADP - Financial Services for HR-related tasks
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now software
• Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode for effective HR management
• Familiarity with Ceridian HR software
• Proficiency in using Dayforce for HR operations
• Ability to handle Benefit Functions including health insurance and retirement plans
• Excellent Communication skills to interact effectively with employees at all levels
• Strong knowledge of Compliance with labor laws and HR best practices
• Experience in managing Employee Relations including conflict resolution and employee engagement
• Understanding of FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) and its application in the workplace
