Job DescriptionJob Description

Summary: Seeking a Satellite Electrical & EMC Systems Engineer to manage EMC definition, analysis, and test programs for LEO/MEO satellites and power subsystems.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field

  • Ability to pass drug and background check (ITAR compliance)

  • Experience with electrical design and EMC testing for LEO/MEO satellites and power subsystems

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of EMC standards at system level

  • Familiarity with EMC environment analysis

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee overall EMC definition, analysis, and planning

  • Allocate EMC standards into specific system-level tests at satellite, payload, and bus levels

  • Refine EMC processes

  • Define complete electrical EMC design and requirements for satellite bus and payload

  • Analyze applicable system-level EMC requirements and allocate lower-level requirements

  • Evaluate designs concerning the EMC environment

  • Perform verification and validation of EMC performance from unit to system level

  • Develop requirements definitions, SOCs, verification/validation matrices, design descriptions, systems budgets, equipment specifications, and test requirements

  • Support system and subsystem qualification test activities

  • Conduct satellite electrical and EMC testing

 

 

 Pay: 50-90

Pay Details: $50.00 to $90.00 per hour
