We are offering a full-time, on-site, contract / temporary employment opportunity for a Billing Clerk, located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. As a Billing Clerk, you will be conducting thorough examinations of billing irregularities, managing customer requests, and maintaining robust vendor relationships. Furthermore, you will be tasked with ensuring compliance with billing industry standards and identifying opportunities to streamline all activities.


Responsibilities:

• Analyzing and resolving policy health exceptions.

• Tracking the status and progress of all exceptions until they are fully resolved.

• Handling daily partner policy interface issues and performing root cause analysis.

• Ensuring proper payment application to customer’s policy.

• Reviewing and categorizing credit card declines into action-specific buckets.

• Conducting investigations on Credit Card Charge-Backs and providing timely responses to Credit Card Institutions.

• Processing credit card resolution and tracking the status of credit card follow-up actions with cross-functional departments.

• Maintaining vendor relationships to uphold compliance with billing industry standards.

• Identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency in all activities.

• Providing effective communication on the status of activities.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with Computerized Billing

• Experience in billing or account management functions

• Proficient with MS Excel
