Pharmacist Manager

HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Pharmacist Manager to fill an opening with a prestigious healthcare organization in Portsmouth, RI.

Daily Responsibilities for Pharmacist Manager:

  • Meet/exceed site budgets. Leverage operating policies, procedures and process to ensure operational excellence (5 Rs).
  • Optimize cost management in line with script counts. In coordination with the General Manager, serve as primary owner for Band III accounts, and facility owner for Band I and II accounts in assigned geography.
  • Drive organic growth and mitigate risk with existing customer relationships. Negotiate and finalize customer contracts in collaboration with appropriate regional leadership.
  • Collaborate with Sales to drive deal closures and organic growth.
  • Typical daytime hours 8-5pm M-F (40 hours per week on site)
Required Qualifications for Pharmacist Manager:
  • Current license to practice pharmacy in Rhode Island
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree
  • Proficient in clinical interpretation: drug-drug, drug-disease, drug-food interactions and allergies
  • Previous management/ sales experience is ideal

Pay Details: $80.00/hour - $81.00/hour
