Position: Early Intervention Speech Language Pathologist

Location: Burlington, VT

Job Summary: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our Early Intervention team in Burlington, VT. This position offers the opportunity to work with infants and toddlers, providing early intervention services to support their speech and language development.

Job Details:

  • Position Type: Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Duration: Permanent
  • Caseload: Infants and toddlers (age range: 0-3 years)
  • Hourly Rates: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications
  • Work Schedule: Flexible, to accommodate client needs

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings and assessments to identify speech and language delays or disorders in infants and toddlers.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language goals in collaboration with families and caregivers.
  • Provide direct therapy services to infants and toddlers in various settings, including homes, daycares, and community centers.
  • Educate families and caregivers on strategies to support speech and language development during daily routines and activities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of sessions, progress notes, and assessment results in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Vermont.
  • Experience working with infants, toddlers, and young children in early intervention or pediatric settings.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams.
