Project Engineer

Job Summary: My client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Project Engineer to join their multi-disciplinary civil engineering team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the planning, design, and execution of diverse civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, Select, and Apply Techniques: Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to solve engineering challenges and create construction documents.
- Project Design and Development: Understand project design and development for grading, stormwater treatment, and utility systems from the planning phase through construction.
- Preparation of Specifications: Prepare specifications, research investigations, and reports.
- Project Coordination: Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of technical work in portions of a major project or in a total project of moderate scope across multiple projects.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate with the design team, consultants, and authorities having jurisdiction.
- Approval Tracking: Track and monitor approvals from agencies, Additional Service Requests, and contract approvals.
- Site Plan Adjustments: Adjust site plans to meet requirements and provide recommendations for more effective layouts.
- Project Review: Review the entire project, including design done by others, before QA/QC review.
- Mentorship and Leadership: Effectively mentor, delegate, and lead Design Engineers.
