Finance Manager

Clark Schaefer Strategic HR has a full-time opportunity with a non-profit client looking for a Finance Manager to join their team who will be responsible for all aspects of financial operations. This position provides accounting, budgetary, operational and programmatic support to programs and activities and serves as the primary contact for fiscal, contractual matters, proposals for new or extended programs and new business development.
The Finance Manager will:
- Manage fiscal operations and ensure financial health by overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Manage monthly billing through the EMR.
- Interpret financial reports to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
- Implement risk management strategies to safeguard financial assets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial goals with organizational objectives.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance specific to non-profits.
- Drive financial efficiency and optimize processes to enhance overall financial performance.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of an undergraduate degree in finance or related field from an accredited college or university
- Master degree preferred
- 5-7 years’ experience of financial management in the non-profit healthcare sector
- Experience with EMR billing systems
- MBA and/or Certified Public Accountant designation a plus
