HR Coordinator

We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a HR Coordinator based in San Francisco, California. Being a part of our team in the hotels industry, your role will involve managing recruitment activities, conducting interviews, and assisting with employee engagement initiatives among other duties.
Responsibilities include:
• Leading and managing day-to-day recruitment activities within the Human Resource department to ensure standards are adhered to
• Conducting interviews with potential candidates and managing the internal posting process
• Assisting with the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives
• Maintaining accurate employee files and tracking employee attendance and disciplinary actions
• Assisting with administrative duties of the recruitment process including onboarding
• Playing a pivotal role in the day to day operation of the Human Resources
• Coaching and counseling Department leaders to formulate effective recruitment and succession strategies
• Promoting a positive environment that encourages open communication, trust, mutual respect, and fun
• Following departmental policies and procedures as well as all safety policies
• Undertaking any other duties as assigned.

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Experience with Ceridian and Dayforce software
• Proficiency in About Time software
• Strong auditing skills
• Experience in conducting background checks
• Knowledge of benefit functions in the hotel industry
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
• Previous experience in a similar role in the hotel industry is advantageous
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
