Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Web Developer in the detail oriented Services industry, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a Web Developer, you will be instrumental in designing and developing web applications, working closely with our design team, and maintaining our software systems.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the lead developer in designing, developing, testing, integrating, and supporting web applications in a LAMP stack environment.
• Develop web applications based on business requirements.
• Work with various technologies such as Laravel, VueJS, and Nuxt for both Front-end and Back-end development.
• Liaise with the design team to ensure the developed web applications align with design principles.
• Prioritize tasks across multiple projects to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Employ established development tools, guidelines, and conventions including PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Improve existing systems by analyzing business objectives and identifying areas for modification and improvement.
• Maintain existing software systems by identifying and rectifying software defects.
• Show a keen interest in investigating and developing skills in new technologies.
• Use Atlassian Jira, Backend Development, Bug Tracking, Client Side Scripting, Content Management System (CMS), AB Testing, Agile Scrum, Ajax, and API Development skills as needed.• Proficiency in Atlassian Jira, a tool used for issue tracking and project management.
• Strong understanding and experience in Backend Development.
• Familiarity with Bug Tracking in order to resolve issues efficiently.
• Proficiency in Client Side Scripting for creating interactive web applications.
• Experience with Content Management System (CMS) for managing web content.
• Knowledge of AB Testing methodologies to optimize web performance.
• Ability to work in Agile Scrum environments.
• Proficiency in Ajax for creating asynchronous web applications.
• Experience in API Development for software communication.
• Extensive knowledge of ASP.NET for building web applications.
