Job DescriptionJob Description

Responsibilities:

  • Locate, review and analyzing evidence, including medical and legal records

  • Draft discovery requests/responses, subpoenas and routine litigation documents

  • Assist with trial preparation including coordination of witnesses and travel, trial exhibits, trial subpoenas and page line depositions.

  • Assist attorneys with developing factual support for cases

  • Communicate with clients, experts and attorneys about case status and updates

Requirements:

  • Paralegal Certificate

  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a litigation paralegal

  • Understanding of civil litigation (State and Federal Rules)

  • Proficiency in MS Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) and PowerPoint

  • E-discovery and Concordance experience or other document management programs

  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Organized with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

  • Ability to act independently, be proactive and works with minimal supervision
