This role focuses on conducting assessments and supervising a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) while working from the comfort of your home.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Testing: Perform remote evaluations and assessments for various speech and language disorders.
  • SLPA Oversight: Supervise and support an SLPA, ensuring they meet clinical standards and best practices.
  • Plan Review: Review and approve the SLPAs treatment plans and documentation.
  • Mentorship: Provide constructive feedback and professional development to help the SLPA advance their skills.
  • Documentation: Keep detailed records of patient progress and supervision activities.
  • Team Engagement: Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care and supervision effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Licensing: Active and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Tennessee.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience; experience with SLPA supervision is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and remote communication tools.
  • Personal Attributes: Strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a self-starter attitude.
